We are fortunate to work in a very beautiful environment here at Midfields Granola and Autumn is one of the most colourful seasons for the garden. Oak trees were the only evident trees on the land when we moved in, thirty six years ago.Over this time Brian has planted many varied species of trees and shrubs.
Before the gales and rain this weekend, we managed to capture some images of the wonderful colours that we see every day from the Granola kitchen, hand baking all the range we offer for our Farm Shops, Delis and on line Granola Shop.
Over the last few months I have been developing a new ‘Very Fruity Gluten Free Granola’, we launched two weeks ago and it is already proving very popular, following on from the success of our Toasted Oat and Almond Gluten Free Granola. The Fruit colours in the ‘Very Fruity Gluten Free Granola’ reminds me of Autumn, with the golden raisins, red cranberries and rich browns of the dates.
For the month of October we are giving away 200g bags of the NEW Very Fruity Gluten Free Granola, baked in West Country Rapeseed Oil and lower calorie syrup of Apple, Carob and Grape. It will go out with every order, how ever big or small.
Developing new products is so much fun, watch this space for a very different kind of Granola next Spring, lots of experimenting will be going on in the next few weeks, to produce what will be one of the most exciting range to date at Midfields Granola.
