For many years since Midfields Granola first started baking and selling Granola, our chosen charity has been Children’s Hospice South West. We used to do an all day breakfast and the generous community of Moretonhampstead have supported the charity so well, we have been able to raise some considerable amounts of money over the years.
The latest fund raiser for C.H.S.W has been selling the empty Cotswold Gold rapeseed oil containers, which cannot be returned, due to cost. I refuse to put them in land fill and decided we could sell them to locals. Flushed out they are so use full for all manner of things….Allotments, Horses, putting old oil in and one lady bought some for her husbands pottery business.
Our Coop Supermarket in the Moretonhampstead, kindly let us outside of their window and as you can see, the other Saturday I took loads of Containers and collected for Children’s Hospice South West. Thank you to everyone for their generosity.
