Ingredients make approx 15 squares
50g Plain Chocolate 100g Butter
2 Eggs beaten
100g Granulated sugar
50g Plain sifted flour
1 Teaspoon baking powder
1/4 Teaspoon salt
110g Midfields Granola (use any from our range)
Method
Pre-heat oven Gas Mk4 | 180oC
Well grease and line a 18 x 28cm (7 x 11 inch) baking tin with baking paper or greaseproof paper, bringing the paper 5cm (2inches) above the rim of the tin.
Melt the butter and chocolate(broken into small pieces) together in a basin over simmering water on a very low heat, keep the bowl out of the water.
Away from the heat stir all the other ingredients into the butter and chocolate mixture thoroughly, then spread all this into the lined tin.
Bake in the oven for 30 mins. or 25 mins. (if fan assisted), or until a knife comes out clean from the mix.
Don’t overcook it will firm up when cool.
Leave to cool for 10 mins. before dividing into 15 squares and transfer to a wire rack to finish cooling.
