Well what a week for my first blog!! The website designers for Midfields Granola arrived on Tuesday for a whole day of photo shoots. I knew they were coming because I heard the staff talking about it on their coffee break, while I relaxed on the grass nearby. They seemed very excited about this photo shoot thing! I was soon to find out what it was..
There I was on Tuesday with my brother Tom, inside our day time home (Dog Kennel) where we can come and go whenever we like, having a lovely sleep in our cosy bed and the door opens, I might add it was raining!! Tom was not impressed, he is very shy, unlike me, and I love people and like to be in on the action. Then this man with a camera, (I am used to those!) asked me to pose, no need to ask, I was ready. Tom just ignored the man. Next the Boss picks me up and carry’s me to her Horses, Silk and Ravel, we all performed best we could despite the rain. Ravel is very old and can be grumpy, I visit Silk more, she likes to nuzzle up to me.
The Boss and her Partner seemed pleased with the days shoot and posed with me indoors at the end of the day. Tom told me later he was having nothing to do with any of it.
Next day it was back to normal and Lin the Supervisor and the Boss baked Granola all day, to make up lost time, they said.
Friday is Cookie day, when there are three cooks, more staff for me to annoy!!! They jump up and down more on Fridays when on their break as the ovens make a high pitched noise when it is time to see to the Cookies. I heard them say they were going to have to bake over 2000 the following week over two days.
Saturday and Sunday no one works in the Granola kitchens and it snowed heavily anyway. Tom and I stayed indoors by the fire. Let’s hope the snow melts before Tuesday, when Boss and Lin start baking and I will be able to listen them over their coffee breaks.
